Baby S Day Out 2 Lost In China Full Movie No

720c5d9bec 47 National Lampoon's Animal House is a 1978 American comedy film directed by John Landis and written by Harold Ramis, Douglas Kenney and Chris Miller. The film stars John Belushi, Tim Matheson, John Vernon, Verna Bloom and Thomas Hulce. The film tells the story of an animal fraternity at Faber College (later named "Faber University") in 1962 whose members live in a state of complete anarchy while paying no attention to academics. To their shock they learn that the college will be sold and developed into a shopping mall unless they can come up with $10,000 in tuition funds quick. They must then somehow raise the money before their house mother decides to close them down for good. The film was the first produced screenplay by Kenney and Ramis, who went on to write and star in the popular comedies Caddyshack (1980) and Ghostbusters (1984). Like Animal House, both of those films also starred Belushi. The comedy team adapted their film from a few shorts they did for the National Lampoon magazine's TV specials. National Lampoon's animal House is ranked #44 on the American Film Institute's list of the 100 funniest American comedies. In 2001, it was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the United States National Film Registry as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant. Chaos reigns at Faber College in 1962, when the administration expands the campus to make room for a huge shopping mall. The Dean's election campaign is in full swing, and the campaign manager tries every trick in the book to get classmates Doug Neidermeyer, Alan "Snake" Simpson and Glenn Slaughter elected—even going so far as calling in a mobster to intimidate Alan's father for offering a reward for his son's murder. Meanwhile, Ned Nederlander (John Vernon), a military veteran with an unhealthy interest in adolescent females, tries to recruit students into a "mature" fraternity of adult males who will leave their children at home when they travel. Despite the obvious danger of hazing, the candidate pledges are required to grow mustaches. Doug is already a member of an existing fraternity known as Omegas. However, he is more interested in winning the affections of the college's beautiful head cheerleader, Lisa. When Lisa rebuffs both his romantic overtures and his attempts to win more money at poker by cheating, Doug decides to join Omega's rival fraternity, led by Otter (Stephen Furst), because they are so bad that even their pledge exercises can be used as an excuse to skip classes. He is aided in this decision by Otter's girlfriend Kate (Martha Smith), who leads him to believe that she might be interested in him if he joins. The new pledges are subjected to hazing, which includes an incident of friendly fire between the two fraternities that causes the deaths of several people. On adding insult to injury, Otter and his brothers then throw a party with "free beer" (non-alcoholic malt drink), and everyone gets drunk, leading to more arrests. When Lisa shows up at the party and asks Doug to take her home because she is too drunk to drive, he is unable or unwilling to do so because Otter's date has not yet left and he does not want to leave without her. (He was apparently relying on Lisa getting drunk enough that she would be willing take him home with her.
